Arlie Saul Gillinger

Arlie Saul Gillinger, 81, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born on Tuesday, August 18, 1936 in Pound, Virginia to Gaza John Gillinger and Grace Sara (Campbell) Gillinger, both of whom have preceded him in death. Arlie was also preceded in death by his children, Linna Evans and Tena Gillinger, brothers, Joe, Chuck, Rudy, Lou, Herbert, Albert, and Gene Gillinger, sisters, Vi Roe, Ethel Buchanan, grandson, Ross Edward Holcomb. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 49 years Theresa Gillinger; children, Norman John, Paula Baker and husband Warren, Roger Gillinger and wife Nancy, Michael Gillinger, Ryan Gillinger, A.J. Gillinger and wife Megan; brother, Harold Gillinger and wife Sue; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Arlie will be held at Neal Funeral Home on January 24, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will commence at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Interment for Arlie will immediately follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery. Brother George Elledge officiating.
