Barbara Dunaway

Barbara Dunaway, 78, of Coldspring, Texas passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born on Saturday, July 20, 1935 in Concord, Texas to James Eugene and Sarah Chloe (Paulette) Faulkner, both of whom have preceded her in death. Barbara was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Dunaway, son, Paul Dunaway, brother, Edward Dee Putty, sister, Jodie Burke, great-grandchild, James Dunaway; Left to cherish her memory is her loving children, Ronald Ray Dunaway and wife May, Larry Gene Dunaway and wife Tammy Lynn and Vicky Ann Dunaway and fiancé Leon White; brothers, Fredrick Eugene Faulkner and wife Leigh and James Jefferson Faulkner; sisters, Charlotte Pugh and husband Stan and Nancy Swidersky and husband Lynn; grandchildren, Chuck Dunaway, Heather Burns, Jennifer Clark and husband Johnny, James Alfred Dunaway, April Lynn Taylor and husband Jerry, Leah Ann Dunaway, Jason Curtis Yeager and Jerry Ray Yeager; great-grandchild, Gavin, Garrett, Levi, Gage, Bryson, Brody, Sarah, Zachary, Jenna, Audrey and Justin; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. She and her husband Charles loved to travel and had seen most of the world. She was a loving foster parent for over 20 years and helped to shape the lives of many.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Coldspring, Texas, Monday, April 21, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery following service. Reverend Don Shannon officiating.
