Brenda Knowles Shaw, 72, of Porter, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. She was born on Sunday, August 24, 1941 in Roper, North Carolina. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lewis Shaw, son, James David Journigan and wife Gina and her mother, Amethyst Winiffred Gercken; Left to cherish her memory is her three sons, Kenneth Journigan of Porter, Texas, Michael Journigan of Porter, Texas and Christopher Journigan of Houston; three grandchildren, James David Journigan, Dustyn Alan Journigan and Skylar Breann Journigan along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Brenda was loved by many and will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation for Brenda will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from Noon till 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m.
