Dora Jean Morgan

Dora Jean Morgan, 72, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was born on Sunday, September 2, 1945 in Cleveland, Texas to George Clinton Smith and Lorenza (Tenorio) Smith, both of whom have preceded her in death. Dora was also preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Babe Morgan, son, Maurice Morgan, daughter, Virginia Julieann Morgan, great-grandson, Hunter Sims. Left to cherish her memory is her loving companion of 30 years Melton Joe Davis; loving children, Gloria Jean Morgan and Johnny Colburn, Minnie Pearl Morgan, Pearl Eugene Morgan and wife Lucy Briles, Lorenzo Morgan and wife Shannon, Theodore Connice "Red" Morgan and Stephanie Robbins, Babe Morgan and wife Belinda; brothers, George Alec Smith and wife Theresa Wright, Clinton Allen Smith and wife Nona; sisters, Mary Jo Mize, Linda Majors and husband Lonnie, Virginia Whitehead, Dorothy Grogan and husband Tommy, Kathy Hash and husband Stanley; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Dora will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will commence at 2:00 pm. Interment for Dora will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial. Pastor Frank Borman and Pastor Charles Stoker officiating.
