Jean Newman Obituary
Jean Newman 66, of Muskogee, Ok. died January 26, 2015. She was born in Handford, California on October 31, 1948 to Ray and Imogene Cope, she was raised in Oklahoma, where she received her education.
Jean is preceded in death by her father, Ray Cope; mother, Imogene Casey; daughter, Arlise Barham; granddaughter, Jessica Hobbs; sister, Carolyn Sue Fountain and aunt, Lavonna Norfield.
She was a longhaul truck driver for 13 years, using the c.b. name "Lady Blue Jeans". She is survived by two sons, two daughter in laws, one grandson, and one great grandson. A.J. and Shelly Hobbs, of Muskogee, OK. Ray and Brandy Barham of Plano, Tx, Justin Hobbs and Jase Hobbs. Two sisters, Glenda Leigh Hilton of Muskogee, OK. and Gayle Raye Dunegan of Livingston, TX.; one aunt Merle Cope of Gore, OK., and her beloved dog Buddie; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, other loving family and treasure friends. Burial will be at, Floral Haven Cemetery, Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.
