Karen Lynn Harris

Karen Lynn Harris, 80, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at her home in Splendora, Texas. She was born on Friday January 12, 1934 in Houston, Texas to Willie Walter and Blanche (Cadwalder) Dean both of whom have preceded her in death. Karen was also preceded in death by her daughter, Leah Michelle Harris; brother, Billy Dean and grandparents, Dan and Gertrude Cadwalder. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 63 years, Ernest Darrell Harris; children, Debbie Ross and husband Duane, Rebecca James and husband Preston, Lisa Lewis and husband Scott, Angela Mathis and husband Tim, Sarah McComas and husband Ferrel, Mark Harris and wife Lizette, Heather Qualls and husband Dale; grandchildren, Joseph Ross and wife Candice, Patrick Ross and wife Nina, Tyler Ross, Matthew James, Michael James and wife Lauren, Jessica James, Holly Konneman and husband Alex, Charlee Harris, Laney Harris, Henry Harris; great-grandchildren, Margaux James, Ingrid James and Reilly James; along with numerous other loving family and a host of treasured friends. A memorial service for Karen will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday September 20, 2014 at 1pm to 3pm. Elder Corky Engle to preside. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
