Lawana Jean Flanigan

Lawana Jean Flanigan, 91, of Shepherd, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born on Saturday, March 5, 1927, in Smackover, Arkansas, to Will Luther and Clara Luther, both of whom have preceded her in death. Lawana was also preceded in death by her spouse, Charles Ray Flanigan; daughters, Lawana Fay Parish, Bridgette Leah Flanigan; brothers, Paul Luther, Elmer Luther, H. D. Luther; sisters, Nadine Scott, Barbara McGouph; great-granddaughter, Leigh Ann Magenias. Left to cherish her memory are her loving sons, Timothy Patrick Flanigan and wife Laura, Alvin Ray Beshears and wife Janice; brother, Wayne Luther; sister, Connie Fenter and husband Charlie; many grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Lawana will be held at Neal Funeral Home on April 20, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Lawana will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Interment for Lawana will immediately follow at New Bethlehem Cemetery, Conroe, Texas.
