Margie Verdie Golden, 93, of Porter, Texas passed away on February 18, 2015. She was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1921 in Helmic, Texas to Charlie Calvin Sullivan and Vanner (Holcomb) Sullivan, both of whom have preceded her in death. Margie was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Quie Golden; brother, Ted Sullivan; sister, Marie Townsend; Left to cherish her memory is her loving sons, Quinton Golden, and Wendel Golden Sr.; grandchildren, Quinton Dewayne Golden and wife Kristin, Terry Golden, Kevin Golden, Amanda Sutters, Wendel Golden Jr. and wife Sherry, Chrystal Strum, Valene Lindhout and husband Trevor; along with numerous great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, other loving family and treasured friends. Graveside for Margie will be held at Rosewood Cemetery in Porter, Texas on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 am, Pastor Tresa Sechelski officiating. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
