Melodie Ann Jackson, 56, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her home. She was born on Friday, May 15, 1959 in Denver, Colorado to Richard Carson and Eleanor (Phares) Carson. Melodie was preceded in death by her father, Richard Carson, grandchild, Taylor Bassett. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 36 years Gary Jackson; her mother, Lolly Carson; sons, David Allmer and wife Barbara, Robert Jackson; daughters, Tricia Bassett and husband Casey, Tiffany Reeves and husband Jeremy; brothers, Richard Carson and wife Jadie, Steve Carson and wife Kathy, David Carson and wife Bonnie; Lifelong friend, Jenny Parks; grandchildren, Brooke Bassett, Serenity Fleetwood, David Allmer, Daniel Allmer, Elizabeth Garcia, Austin Allmer, Macky Bbeairsto and Austin Dravtsky; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. A Memorial Service will be held for Melodie on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 6 pm at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas.
