Sidney Eli "Red" Evans, 90, of Cleveland, Texas, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. He was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1926 in Donie, Texas, to Sidney Eli Evans and Clara Huldah (Haeffner) Evans, both of whom have preceded him in death. Sidney was also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Mary "Mae" J. Evans; sons, Donald Evans and Robert Evans; brother, Teddy J. Evans. Left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter, Pat Keenan and husband John of El Prado, NM; sister, Helen Brown of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Christina Remucal and husband Jonathan of Madison, WI, Carrie Keenan and husband Jacob Brown of Chicago, IL, Michael Evans of Cleveland, TX, and Nikki Baines and husband Nathan of Magnolia, TX; great-grandchildren, Sophie Remucal, Evan Remucal, Milo Brown, Ashley Baines, and Alysha Evans; daughter-in-law, Sharon Evans; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and treasured friends. A memorial service for will be held at Neal Funeral Home, on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 4:00 pm.
