THACKERAY
Terry Tod Thackeray, of Splendora, Texas went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 04, 2017. Terry was born on Tuesday, September 25, 1951 to George Zenas and Georgia (Miller) Thackeray. Terry is preceded in death by his spouse, Carol Thackeray; father, George Thackeray; brothers, Tony, Teddy, Tom and George Thackeray and his grandson, Seth Stewart. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Georgia Thackeray; children, Terry Thackeray and wife Kelly, David Thackeray and wife Sue, Amber Whitworth and husband Mark, and Ryan Thackeray; brother, Tim Thackeray and wife Sandy; sisters, Pam Shackleton and husband Stan, Lillian Thackeray, Christy Baldridge and husband Danny, Glory Moe and husband Jesse; 10 wonderful grandchildren and 1 beautiful great granddaughter. Numerous nieces, nephews other loving family and treasured friends. Terry was a great card player and jokester, which made all card games lots of fun. He had a great love for Houston sports teams, but most of all he loved his family. Terry had an unshakeable Faith in his Lord and Savior. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Visitation for Terry will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, April 08, 2017 from 9 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will commence at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Carmona Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas.
