Tommy Joe Roane, 74, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017. He was born on Wednesday, May 12, 1943 in Edna, Texas to James Authur and Evelyn Faye Roane, both of whom have preceded him in death. Tommy was also preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Louise Reeves; brother, John Arch; and sister, Norma Gay Finch. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Thelma Roane; children, Elizabeth Johnston, and Cynthia Diese and husband Jerry; brother, Jimmy Roane and wife Bonnie; sister, Dorothy Roane; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Tommy will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Services for will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Interment for Tommy will immediately follow at Squier Cemetery. Brother Charles officiating.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
