Willie Jean McMeans

Willie Jean McMeans, 72, of Shepherd, Texas went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at her home in Shepherd, Texas. She was born on Friday, March 19, 1943 in Shepherd, Texas to James E Lincoln and Wilda Lincoln, both of whom have preceded her in death. She was known for her love for life, phenomenal smile, cooking that was out of this world and she was a talented seamstress. Her many talents as a mother, wife, and sister will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 34 years Arthur McMeans; daughters, Venetta Milligan and husband Dewayne, Tiffany Brown, Beretta Scott; sons, Victor Waites, Arthur D McMeans; brothers, James E. Lincoln and wife Kris, Alvin Lincoln; sister, Verna Lee Clark; 16 grandchildren. A special niece and nephew that lived with her, Vanessa Scott and Frederick Scott. Along with numerous nieces, nephews other loving family and treasured friends. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home Chapel. Followed by a Celebration of Life for Willie that will begin at 2:00 pm. Annita Wright officiating.
