Billie Jackson

Billie Laverne Jackson, 83, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on, Friday, February 22, 2019.  She was born on Sunday, July 30, 1935, in Cleveland, Texas.  Billie  was  preceded in death by her father, Oscar Thomas Martin Sr.; mother, Edna Ethel (Collins) Martin; loving husband of 65 years, J.W. Jackson; brothers, Johnny Estene Martin, Oscar Thomas Martin Jr.; sisters, Linda Jane Martin, Virginia Ollie Adams; son-in-law, Steve Pennington.  She was a loving mother and great nannie.  Billie and her husband owned Piney Wood Liquor Store.  She worked at Farmers State Bank and McAdams Dry Goods when she was younger.  Left to cherish her memory is her loving children, Jerry Wayne Jackson & wife Jewel, Cynthia Jean Pennington, Marty Jackson & wife LaNita; sister, Eleanor "Fay" Martin and husband Wilburn "Pete"; grandchildren, Jason, Angel, Stephen, Randi, Ginny Lee, Weslee, Paige, Devyn, Karmyn; along with 13 great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Billie will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 10 a.m.  Interment for Billie will immediately follow at Magnolia Cemetery.  Officiating Rev. Douglas Hollie.  All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
