Dovie Wilkerson

Dovie Wilkerson, 93, of Porter, Texas passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019.  She was born on Monday, March 22, 1926 in Provencal, Louisiana to Bruce and Ada (Faucette) Cargle, both of whom have preceded her in death.  Dovie was also preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Leon Wilkerson Sr.; son, Enoch Leon Wilkerson Jr.; daughter, Connie Pearl Stelzig; brothers, Ivis, Arlei, Travis, Troy, and Cecil Cargle; sisters, Lois, and Inez Cargle, Ruby Storkel and Avis Handy.  Left to cherish her memory is her loving children, Rubin Wilkerson, Sherry Ferguson and husband Wesley, John Wilkerson and wife Bizzie, Tammy Scroggins, and husband Randy; grandchildren, Howard Thompson and wife Donna, Gale Fulcher and husband Martin, Greg Thompson and wife Katrina, Billy Wilkerson and wife Mary, Michael Wilkerson and wife Christine, Stacy Wilkerson and wife Shantel, James Wilkerson and wife Christina, Wendy Wilkerson, Sherry Dawn Holley, Natalie Ferguson, Jim Ferguson and wife Alma, Lil John Wilkerson and wife Jody, Bridgett Farris and husband T.J., Norman Wilkerson and wife Brandy, Jade Scroggins, Amber McGuire and husband Paul, Kelly Inkster, and Travis Scroggins; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchild; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Dovie will be held at Neal Funeral Home on August 30, 2019 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  Funeral Services for will immediately follow at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 am.  Interment for Dovie will immediately follow at Morgan Cemetery. Pastor Conn McWhorter officiating.
