Joe David McCoy

Joe David McCoy, 73, of Rye, Texas passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019.  He was born on Sunday, October 21, 1945 in Radford, Montgomery County, Virginia to Walter Floyd McCoy and Virginia Pauline (McKinney) McCoy, both of whom have preceded him in death.  Joe was also preceded in death by his brother, Walter Floyd "Skeeter" McCoy, Jr., sisters, Alice Yvonne McCoy, Ramona Belle McCoy Guilliams, Sylvia Lenore McCoy Hale, grandson, Matthew Taylor McCoy.  Joe married Kaye Blackshear on October 28, 1969 in Hurst, Tarrant County, Texas; theirs was a marriage of blessings and love for 50 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Kaye McCoy; daughters, Teresa Kaye Johnson Adcox, Stacy Yvonne McCoy Moquin and husband Gary Paul Moquin II, Rebecca Faye McCoy Horrigan and husband Jospeh Bryan Horrigan; son, Randall Shane McCoy and wife Marilyn McCoy; sister, Mildred Louise McCoy Ovenshire and husband David; grandchildren, Emma Leigh Adcox, Aaron Jeoffrey Adcox, Austin Cole McCoy, Madisen Nicole McCoy, Skylar Katelynn McCoy Danklefs, Kaehtlyn Amaris McCoy Hall and husband Gavin Hall, Reese Nevaeh McCoy Moquin, Hope Yvonne McCoy Moquin, Christopher Moquin, Traya Moquin-Lake; great-grandson, Matthew David McCoy Hall; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. A memorial service for Joe will be held at Neal Funeral Home, on Saturday October 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm.  Rev. Carroll Williams, officiating.
