John Henry Ryan

John Henry Ryan, 82, of Porter, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  He was born on Friday, October 9, 1936, in Mont Belview, Texas to Charles Patrick Ryan and Elvie May (Bell) Ryan, both of whom have preceded him in death.  John was also preceded death by his wife of 37 years, Susan Lee Ryan; step-son, Douglas Robert Campbell; brother, Charlie Ryan; sister, Elva Mae Hulsey; grandson, Jesse Morris.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving daughters Christi Morris and step-daughter, Carole Christian and husband Jerry; sisters, Patsy Brunet and Joann Stabbs; grandchildren, Campbell Christian, Connor Christian, Bianca Morris, Jarrett Morris and wife Marley; great-grandchildren, Cutter Willbanks, Noah and Declan Morris, Taylor Trahan, Brookelynn, Jordyn, Raylynn, Jesse, Ryan and McKenzee Morris; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends.  A graveside service for John will be held at Ryan Cemetery on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 2 p.m.  Pastor Bob Towell officiating.
