Robert L Buckner

Robert L. Buckner, 82, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.  He was born on Friday, January 15, 1937 in Ashville, North Carolina to Lloyd T. Buckner and Gladys Holcombe Buckner, both of whom have preceded him in death.  Bob was also preceded in death by his daughter, Robbie Poort, brother, Max Lane Buckner, and sisters; Doris Emma Buckner, Eleanor Louise Quick.  Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Carla Buckner; daughters, Becki Mahan and husband Mark, Lena Cowen and husband Richard, Marianne Martin; sons, Bobby Buckner, Robert Martin and wife Tish; brother, Lloyd Buckner, Jr.; sisters, Joan Marie Buckner Humes, Dale Brown and husband Tom; Grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Justin, Carl, Charlie, Samuel, Joshua, Kenneth, John, Nathan, and Luke; Nine great grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Bob will be held at the First Baptist Church of Splendora on Thursday, May 30, 2019 beginning at 9:30 am. Funeral Services will follow at 10:30 am. There will be a lunch provided at the church beginning at 11:30.  Interment for Bob at Houston National Cemetery at 2:15 pm. Bro. Bob Grayson officiating.
