Darrington "Darrell" Thorne Eggleston

Darrington "Darrell" Thorne Eggleston, 71, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017. He was born on Friday, October 19, 1945, in Houston, Texas, to James Alver Eggleston and Louveta (Cain) Eggleston, both of whom have preceded him in death. Darrell was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Hallard Eggleston. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Gloria Eggleston; daughters, Dana Eggleston and husband Brent, Tara Barnes-Legrand; sons, Charles James Eggleston, Robin Ray Barnes and wife Julie; sisters, Jamie Alicia Young and husband Steve, Tede Joy Mulligan and husband Joe; best sister-in-law, Janice Ackerman; grandchildren, Elora Binnie and husband Cody, Autumn Eggleston, Elizabeth Barnes, Brianna Barnes, Jennifer Oddo and husband Jason; great-grandchild, Jax Oddo; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Darrell was a member of the Circle of Companions and the First Baptist Church, of Cleveland, Texas. Visitation for Darrell will be held at Neal Funeral Home, on July 6, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services for Darrell will be held at First Baptist Church, on Friday, July 7, 2017, at 10:00 am. Interment for Darrell will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
