Johnny Standley Obituary

Johnny Lee Standley, 78, of Trinity, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was born on Monday, March 13, 1939, in Houston, Texas, to Dave May Standley and Annie Jewel (Giddens) Standley, both of whom have preceded him in death. Johnny was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Melton Standley, and J. D. Standley; sister, Edna May Haggard; nieces, Sandra Kay Davis, and Cindy Aigner. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 54 years Ruth Marie Standley; sons, Jason Standley and wife Tracy, Brian Ross Standley and wife Jaime; grandchildren, Kyla Marie Standley, John Charles Standley, and Matthew Lane Standley; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Johnny proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Hollister from 1958 - 1962. He also retired from AT&T after 25 years of services. Johnny will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to have known him.
