Robert Wayne Barfield

Robert Wayne Barfield, 64, of Livingston, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was born on Thursday, June 25, 1953, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Jesse Wayne and Helen Joyce Barfield. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Wayne Barfield; brother, Charles Edward Barfield; grandfather, Jesse Barfield; grandmother, Lila Mae Barfield. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife LeAnn Barfield; children, Lisa Michelle Smith and husband Brandon, Holly Beth Townley and husband Billy, Christi Lynn Barfield, Laura Megan Barfield and husband Jerry Copeland; loving mother, Helen Joyce Barfield; brothers, James Wayne Barfield and wife Brenda, David Edward Barfield and wife Karen, and Larry Glen Barfield; sister-in-law, Carrie Barfield; grandchildren, Bradley, Caiden, Checota, Lane, and Brady; special children, Donald, Aaron and Casey Cumbie, Paula Herren, Tara, Kevin and kids, Eric and Erica Hancock and children, Joseph Gay, Kristi, and Curtis; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and treasured friends. In lieu of flowers, at family's request, donations to help cover funeral expenses. Graveside for Robert will be held at Houston National Cemetery, Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 2:15 pm.
