Brandie Meshelle Stepp, born on May 24, 1973, in Houston, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2025, in Kingwood, Texas. She grew up in Atascocita, Texas, where she attended Humble High School, graduating with the class of 1991. Brandie was a dedicated Mother and Daughter. She had a vibrant soul who loved life deeply and dedicated herself to helping others. Known for her warm personality, she never met a stranger and had a unique ability to make everyone around her laugh.
Her commitment to community service was exemplified by her volunteering at animal rescue and supporting the Arthritis Foundation. Brandie had a passion for the Houston Astros, country western dancing, and attending music concerts. These interests brought her joy and allowed her to connect with friends and family in meaningful ways.
Brandie is survived by her loving mother, Sandra Hamilton Stepp, as well as her cherished children, Nicholas Harmon and his wife Alyssa, and Lauren Harmon. She leaves behind her brother, Brandon Stepp, alongside her niece and nephew, Zoe and Alex Stepp. Brandie is also survived by her aunt Glenda and uncle Werner Burwood, and cousins Jolie and Josh Vance, Justen and Nicholas Hearon, Amanda and Benji Rogers. She was blessed to have many close relatives and a host of close friends who will carry her memory forward.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Stepp; her grandfather, Thomas Hamilton; her grandmother, Maxine Flournoy Hamilton; and her husband, Dale Gaspard.
Brandie’s vibrant spirit and love for life will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, humor, and philanthropy will continue to inspire and touch the lives of countless individuals.
