Candice Ashton Woerner

Candice Ashton Woerner left our world Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the age of 29. She was born on August 25, 1994 in St. Louis Missouri to Scott and Le An Woerner. Candice was a beautiful person inside and out and lit up the room with her unique laugh and sense of humor. She loved life and was up for shared experiences; whether a grand adventure or just quiet time hanging out. Her     passions included her 3 cats (providing countless opportunities for stories of their antics), being a foodie, and especially cooking with family and friends. She was a skincare aficionado, proudly earning her Licensure of   Esthetician. She talked excitedly about future travel plans, joining the Woerner tradition of traveling the world and was thrilled about becoming an aunt. Those that knew and loved Candice describe her as loving, funny, fierce, loyal, compassionate, intelligent, joyous, and genuine. All who were lucky enough to have Candice in their lives will miss her greatly. To her extended family and friends - may her memory be eternal.  While we mourn Candice, we also want to celebrate her life and the impact she had on those who met her; anyone we speak to has a Candice story that makes you laugh, cry and sometimes both. She was a joy to be around and had a quick wit; we will all miss her dearly. Candice will be laid to rest in a private ceremony for the family. We would like to thank everyone who has shared their stories, condolences, well wishes and offered help as we grieve. Your thoughts and prayers have brought us some comfort at this tragic time. Candice is preceded in death by her grandfather, Paul Woerner; grandmother, Leola Mae Schrode; grandfather, Jack Clark; and great-grandmother, Agnes Woerner. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving father, Scott Woerner and wife Darcy; loving mother, Le An Woerner; loving brothers, Trevor Woerner and wife     Susan and Bradley Woerner;  loving grandmother Ruby Woerner; and a host of loving family and  treasured friends.
