Clifford Duane Ehmke

Clifford Duane Ehmke, entered into rest on February 7, 2026, at the age of
78, in Cleveland, Texas. Born on May 28, 1947, in Scott City, Kansas,
Clifford lived a life enriched with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Clifford served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War on soil
combat and was a proud veteran. He loved attending New Hope Baptist Church
in Cleveland, Texas and listening to music. Clifford retired from the U.S.
Postal Service. He had an agriculture degree from Ft. Hays State University
and loved planting trees. Clifford's legacy is one that will continue to
shine brightly in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his brother, Forrest "Frosty" Ehmke and his wife
Catherine, along with Vance Ehmke and his wife Louise. Clifford also leaves
behind his nephews and nieces; Cole Ehmke, Tanner Ehmke, Layton Ehmke,
Gregory Ehmke, Laura Ehmke, Marit Ehmke, and Jeanette Harding. His close
friend Brandy Wilmoth stood by him through life's journey, providing
companionship and support that made every day brighter.

Clifford is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Ehmke, his son Isaac
Walter Ehmke, and his parents, August Walter Ehmke and Bertie Louise
Carpenter. Their memories will forever be left with us to cherish.

Family and friends are invited to honor Clifford's memory with a visitation
on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a
funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home, located at 200 S
Washington Ave, Cleveland, TX. Interment is to immediately follow at Farley
Chapel Cemetery located in Shepherd, Texas.

Clifford Duane Ehmke will be deeply missed, yet never forgotten.
