Connie Lou Wyatt, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on December 2, 1951, in Elyria, Ohio, Connie's life was a tapestry woven with devotion to her family, warmth for her friends, and a genuine appreciation for the joys of life.
Connie was a devoted spouse to her husband of 41 years, Everett Dale Wyatt. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and love, a nurturing environment where their family could grow and thrive. Her love knew no bounds, especially for her two sons, Michael Joseph Wyatt and his wife Miranda, and Mathew Wyatt and his wife Amber. As a proud grandmother, she cherished each moment spent with her grandchildren: Haleigh, Brandon, Vivian, and Mathew, always eager to shower them with affection and encouragement.
Throughout her life, Connie embraced her passions with an open heart. In her younger years, Connie enjoyed hunting trips in Colorado alongside her father, a pastime that instilled a deep appreciation for nature. Gardening was another cherished hobby, where she found joy in nurturing plants and watching them flourish, much like her love for her own family. Additionally, Connie adored fishing, finding peace by the water's edge, where she could connect with the beauty of the great outdoors.
Traveling was a delightful part of Connie's life, particularly when she accompanied Everett to coon hunting competitions. These journeys were not just trips; they were memories in the making, filled with shared laughter and camaraderie. When he was away, Connie would often find comfort and joy in playing cards with her dear friends Carol Wright and Loy Daniels, who would always include the grandchildren in the game, creating moments of joy and friendship that would last a lifetime. She would spend hours on the phone with her cousin, Sharon Slavik, discussing the everyday adventures of life and bonding over memorable stories.
Connie's heart was also full of love for her animals, who were integral members of her family. Her gentle spirit resonated with all living creatures, reflecting her kind nature and generous soul.
Though Connie is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Jean Snyder, as well as her brother, Wayne Snyder, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is survived by her loving husband, devoted children, and four adoring grandchildren, along with many other family members and a host of treasured friends.
As we remember Connie Lou Wyatt, let us celebrate a life well-lived, surrounded by love and laughter. She will be sorely missed but fondly remembered for the light she brought into the lives of everyone she met.
