Ernest Clifford Skaines Jr.

Ernest Clifford Skaines Jr., a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, entered into rest on September 18, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on July 31, 1956, in Houston, TX, he will be remembered for his warm heart and generous spirit.

Ernest is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Skaines Sr., his mother, Norma Lee Whiddon, and his son, Cliff Skaines. Their loving memories will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Dawn Pearson; his brother, David Whiddon; and his sister, Deborah Coker, along with her husband Coe. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Ashlee Pearson and Coleman Pearson, who brought immense joy to his life. Ernest is also survived by numerous other loving family members and a host of treasured friends, all of whom will carry his memory dearly in their hearts.

Ernest Skaines Jr. will be remembered as a man who deeply valued family and friendships, someone whose kindness and laughter touched the lives of many. His spirit will live on in the stories shared, the laughter recalled, and the love that remains.
