He was born on March 7, 1968, in Houston, Texas, to Hoke Henry Eberhardt Sr. and Sharon Jobbe Eberhardt, who both precede him in death. His grandchildren, Peyton, Anabelle, Ava, Pierceson, Josie, Hazel, and Mazie, were a significant source of joy in his life, and he took great pride in being their grandfather. Hoke is also survived by his sisters, Jhonne Hill-Eberhardt and Sue Schuetz, along with her husband Howie. Hoke is also survived by his three nephews: John Eberhardt, Anthony Eberhardt and his wife Cassandra, and Phillip Bowers; a niece Nicole Dennis and her husband Martell; seven great-nephews: Matthew, Anthony, Ethan, Logan, Aidan, Bryson, and Carter; a great-niece Danika and a great-great nephew Thomas. Hoke is preceded in death by his sister, Tina Bowers Eberhardt and a granddaughter, Maddie Davis.

An avid outdoorsman, Hoke found immense satisfaction in boating, fishing, hunting, woodworking, and driving fast cars. His adventurous spirit and love for nature endeared him to many and left lasting impressions on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
