Cleveland, Texas

Jacqueline Marie Holifield, affectionately known to her family and friends as "Monkey," gracefully entered the arms of her Lord on June 18, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on December 26, 1939, in Butte, Montana, Jacqueline lived a life marked by love, service, and laughter. Her faithful devotion to the Lord was evident through her deep involvement in children's ministries and youth worship, where she shared her faith with the next generation.

Jacqueline was the embodiment of a loving heart. She often devoted her time and resources to those in need, dedicating herself to caring for her parents until their passing. Her unwavering commitment extended to her family and friends, demonstrating a boundless generosity that touched countless lives. Known for her playful spirit, she possessed a delightful sense of humor, always ready to share a joke and bring joy to those around her.

A true lover of nature, Jacqueline spent many cherished hours outdoors, tending to her vibrant flower bed filled with beautiful roses. With a green thumb and a joyful spirit, she found solace and happiness in yard work. Her love for the outdoors was matched only by her many other passions; whether she was cleaning, coloring, reading, crocheting, sewing, or cuddling with her precious dog, Pierre, Jacqueline embraced life fully and joyously.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy, survived by her three loving children, Peggy Ratcliff, Pamela Brown and husband Rick, and Randy Hayden and wife Rena. She is also lovingly remembered by her step-son, Charles Kevin Holifield and spouse Kim. Jacqueline was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, including Scott Mayfield, Aaron Mayfield Collins and wife Megan, Petra Robinson and husband Eddie, Jennifer Teague and husband Josh, Miranda Havard and husband Cory, Kimberly Quintanilla, Kayla Salinas and husband Adrian, Jess Mayfield and wife Stephanie, Jerry Mayfield, Amber Millican and husband Bruce, Cheryl Hargraves, Brittany Waltman and husband Aaron. Her joy multiplied with each of her great-grandchildren: Annamarie Robinson, Rose Robinson, Madysen Brown, Kylee Teague, Bailey Havard, Brayden Cockrum, Tristian Millican, Konnor Waltman, Jaxton Salinas, Judah Salinas, Jordan Salinas, Aliana Millican, William Quintanilla, Ava Waltman, Taylor Waltman, Jacob Collins, and Abigail Collins. Jacqueline also leaves behind her beloved siblings, Rachel Brown, Sandra Echelbarger and husband Ronald, and Betty Mattix, along with numerous other loving family members and a host of treasured friends.

Jacqueline found eternal peace alongside her cherished parents, Joseph Westly Lane and Lucille Beghtol; her daughter, Barbara Hargraves; her first great-granddaughter, Lacey Kyoung Marie Houck; her brother, Richard Lane; and sister, Marilyn Lane.

Jacqueline Marie Holifield will be forever missed and lovingly remembered for her embrace of life, her giving spirit, and the laughter she shared.
