Lil' Bill Duncan, Jr. "Nugget" was born on December 18, 2024, in Kingwood, Texas. He was a beautiful and strong baby who brought immense joy to all who knew him with his infectious smile and laughter. His journey through life was brief, as he passed away on April 13, 2025, in Shepherd, Texas.
From the very beginning, Lil' Bill was a devoted Momma's boy, always finding comfort in the love of his mother, Kimberly Hibler. He had his Daddy's eyes, which would light up during the moments when his father, Billy Duncan, Sr., returned home from work, brightening each day with his radiant presence. His face was a canvas of joy, erupting into smiles whenever he encountered anyone, a testament to his sweet and loving nature. He also held a special place in his heart for his cherished "Gigi," further illustrating the deep bonds he formed in his short life.
Lil' Bill is survived by his father, Billy Duncan, Sr., and his mother, Kimberly Hibler. He leaves behind loving family members including his maternal grandfather, Robert Hibler, Sr., and girlfriend, Dorothy Smith; maternal grandmother, Brandie Hibler and Sonny Guzman, paternal grandfather, Larry Duncan, Sr.; and grandmother, Thelma Duncan. He is also survived by his great-grandmothers, Agnes Walker and husband Chuck, Georgia Cheek, and Robbin Hibler, alongside numerous aunts and uncles: Erin Majors and husband Lee, Amanda Duncan, Samantha Duncan, Nichole Garza and husband Jose, Rachel Hibler, Robert Hibler, Jr., Larry Wayne Duncan II, Cody Duncan and wife Brooklyn, as well as great-uncle Shane Cheek Sr. and wife Bekah, Nickey Cheek Jr. and wife Amanda, Mike Orgovan and great aunt; Wendy Smith. In addition, he is mourned by many loving relatives and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Lil' Bill was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Nickey Cheek, Sr., David Mack Hibler, Sr., and Douglas Duncan, his great-grandmother, Thelma Smith, as well as his great godmother, Georgia Fay Orgovan.
