Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Lois Annette Carver, left this world to be with the Lord on February 25, 2026, in Conroe, Texas. She was born on April 15, 1937, in Navasota, Texas, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.

She endeared herself to family and friends with her trademark smile and infectious giggling laughter. It was this genuine warmth that characterized her interactions, making a significant impact on the lives she touched. Lois's love for her family, friends and all her dogs was unmistakable. She was known for her generous spirit, particularly toward her canine companions, who enjoyed a steady diet of treats and affection that left them delightfully plump. She was also an avid follower of politics and exhibited unwavering support for Donald Trump, showcasing her strong Republican convictions.

Lois was a registered nurse at M.D Anderson for almost 23 years, with many of these years working on the "IV Team". She was known for being able to quickly start an IV on a cancer patient when no other nurse could.

Lois is survived by her beloved daughter, Paula Sewall and her husband, James; her granddaughter, Shelby Sewall; her brother, George Jr. Foshee; and her sisters-in-law, Cindy Collins and her husband, Greg, and Susie Mayfield and her husband, Dan. She also leaves behind cherished nephews and nieces. In addition to her family, Lois is survived by a circle of loving friends who will miss her dearly.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Carver, her parents, George Maurice Foshee and Anna Bell Foshee, her sisters-in-law Barbara Koy and Ruth Carver, and her brothers-in-law Frank Carver and Art Koy.

Her legacy of compassion, love, and service will remain in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.
