Manuel de Jesus Montemayor Reyes, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, entered into rest on June 22, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and unforgettable memories. Born on August 7, 1969, in Monclova, Mexico, Manuel’s journey through life was marked by hard work, passion, and a playful spirit that brought joy to everyone around him.

Manuel dedicated his professional life to the fields of transportation and agriculture, serving as a truck driver, loader operator, nursery supervisor, and tree cutter. His strong work ethic and determination were evident in everything he did—each day reflected his unwavering commitment to providing for his family.

Beyond the rigors of work, Manuel found immense joy in his hobbies and interests. He was an enthusiastic motorcycle rider, often seen with a smile on his face as he rode through the open roads. His love for country music resonated in his home, filling it with melodies and memories. A devoted fan of NASCAR, he shared his passion for the sport with his family. Manuel also enjoyed watching cartoons, especially his favorite, Transformers. It was easy to find him gathered around a bonfire, telling stories and sharing laughter, always ready to share a moment of happiness with those he loved.

Manuel is profoundly missed by his beloved wife, Nancy Rosa Iracheta, with whom he shared 9 wonderful years of marriage. Their love story spanned an incredible 37 years, filled with sweet moments and cherished memories. He is also survived by his children, Victoria Montemayor and her husband Edward Lara and Manuel Montemayor Jr. and his wife Jennifer, along with the mother of their children, Gloria Lopez; and his stepchildren, Vanessa Welsh and her husband Anthony Welsh, Julia Martinez and her husband Jadan Rogers , Liliana Lopez and Alfredo Lopez carry forth his legacy, cherishing the values he instilled in them. In addition, his 14 grandchildren, whom he adored, brought endless joy into his life, with memories of laughter and exploration that they will forever treasure.

He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings—Noraida, Maricruz, Ines, Julio, Ricardo, and Tanya—who recall countless moments spent together over the years, ever grateful for the bond they shared.

Though Manuel has reunited with his parents, Cruz Montemayor and Erenia Reyes, and his brother, Jose Cruz, in a peaceful rest, he leaves behind a vast community of loving family members and a host of treasured friends whose lives were enriched by his warmth and kindness.

The legacy of Manuel de Jesus Montemayor Reyes is one of resilience, love, and joy. His spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

A visitation for Manuel will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home located at 200 S Washington Ave Cleveland, Texas 77327, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM.

Nacido el 7 de agosto de 1969 en Monclova, México, la trayectoria de Manuel estuvo marcada por el trabajo duro, la pasión y un espíritu lúdico que alegraba a todos los que lo rodeaban.

Manuel dedicó su vida profesional al transporte y la agricultura, trabajando como conductor de camión, operador de cargadora, supervisor de vivero y talador de árboles. Su sólida ética de trabajo y determinación eran evidentes en todo lo que hacía; cada día reflejaba su inquebrantable compromiso con el sustento de su familia.

Más allá de las exigencias del trabajo, Manuel encontraba inmensa alegría en sus aficiones e intereses. Era un motociclista entusiasta, al que a menudo se le veía con una sonrisa en el rostro mientras conducía por las carreteras. El velatorio de Manuel se llevará a cabo el sábado 19 de julio de 2025 en la Funeraria Neal, ubicada en 200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, Texas 77327, de 11:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. El servicio fúnebre se realizará a la 1:00 p. m.
