Robert Lane Walton, a devoted father, loving brother, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away on August 21, 2025, in Cleveland, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on November 4, 1949, in Union Parrish, Louisiana, Robert lived a life rich with love, service, and dedication.
A proud U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, Robert exemplified the spirit of courage and commitment, serving his country with honor. After his military service, he worked tirelessly as a Retired Foreman at Walsh & Albert Company in Houston, Texas, where he was respected by colleagues and friends alike for his strong work ethic and leadership.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Robert was a faithful servant to the Lord. His deep faith was a guiding light in his life, inspiring those around him to live with compassion and kindness. He had a profound appreciation for home life, finding joy and fulfillment in the warmth of family gatherings and cherished moments spent with loved ones.
Left to cherish Robert's memories are his sons, Craig Walton and wife Ginger, James Jankowski and wife Jamie; his daughter, Anita Falls and husband Cody; and his brother, Joel Walton and wife Shanetta. Robert was also a beloved grandfather to Savannah Walton, Brooke Aldrelte and husband Americo, Kimberly Walton, Nicholas Falls and wife Madison, Heather Villyard and husband Johnny, Kaylee Falls, Hannah Jankowski, and Allison Jankowski. He was further blessed with several great-grandchildren and is survived by other loving relatives and a host of friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, June Walton, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage; his father, R.B. Walton; his mother, Ernestine Walton; his son, Davin Walton; and his brother, Carl Walton. His legacy will live on through the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
As family and friends gather to celebrate his remarkable life, they will remember a man who exemplified faith, love, and dedication to his family and community. Robert Lane Walton will be dearly missed but always remembered.
