Rosa Maria Vazquez, a beloved matriarch, was born on May 28, 1940, in Naranjito, Puerto Rico. She peacefully departed this life on November 29, 2025, in Cleveland, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and warmth.

Rosa was known for her deep faith and dedication as a servant to the Lord. Her generous spirit and big heart resonated with everyone she encountered. Family was at the core of her existence; her home was a refuge where family gatherings were marked by laughter, love, and the delightful aroma of her cooking. She was renowned for her Puerto Rican cuisine, especially her delicious bacalaitos, which brought joy to many. Rosa had a special fondness for her family, particularly her great-grandsons, who were a constant source of pride and happiness in her life. After school, her grandson would often visit Abuelita's house first, sharing cherished moments filled with love and nourishment before heading home. In addition to her commitment to family, Rosa enjoyed her quieter moments watching her favorite show, "Caso Cerrado".

Rosa leaves behind her daughter, Ada Iris Torres, and granddaughter, Alexandra Iris Colón-Torres. She was also a doting great-grandmother to Brayden Alexis Navarrete-Colón, Bayron Alexis Navarrete-Colón, and Daniél Alejandro Ramos-Colón. In her extended family, she is mourned by her sister, Irma Vázquez, along with numerous loving family members and treasured friends who will carry her memory forward.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Engracia Vázquez and Carmela Rodriguez, and her siblings: brothers Juan Vázquez, Inés Vázquez, José Vázquez, Andres Vázquez, and Miguel Angel Vázquez; and sisters Maria Vázquez, Isabel Vázquez, Gloria Vázquez, and Juana Vázquez. Their memories now live on within the hearts of those who loved her, as she joins them in eternal rest.

Rosa Maria Vazquez’s legacy will forever be remembered through the lives she touched, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends.
