Ted Dee Hathorne was born on October 19, 1948, in Houston, Texas, and entered into rest on January 18, 2026, in Kingwood, Texas, leaving behind fond memories and a legacy of love.
Ted was known for his quiet demeanor and gentle spirit. While he occasionally fished, he particularly enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors during his younger years, relishing moments spent at the lake and camping in nature. Despite the simplicity of his hobbies, it was the serenity and peace of the natural world that he found most fulfilling.
Ted's life was marked by deep connections, especially with his family. He is survived by his sister, Norma Cases and her husband Barney. He cherished his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Lewis, Calvin Cases, Dana Sherman and her husband Robby, Shannon Watson and her husband Johnny Don, and Devan McGinty. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous other loving family members and a host of treasured friends who will remember him fondly.
In his passing, Ted rejoins his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Hathorne, his son, Anthony Hathorne, and his daughter, Tracey Hathorne. He is also reunited with his parents, Charlie Hathorne and Lucy Palazzo, and his sister, Charlene McGinty, all of whom have predeceased him.
Ted Dee Hathorne will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched.
