Virginia Ramos, a beloved matriarch and dedicated servant of the Lord, peacefully departed this world on June 27, 2025, at 78. Born on February 10, 1947, Virginia's life was a testament to love, creativity, and the joy of family and friendship.
Virginia found great fulfillment in her role as a mother and grandmother. She leaves behind four devoted children, Yolanda Britt and her husband Billy, Irene Straight and her husband Dean, Gloria McClain and her husband Jay, and Laurie Ramos and her husband Michael, who will forever cherish her memory. Her legacy lives on in her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each of whom experienced the warmth of her affection and the strength of her spirit. Virginia's siblings, Susie Torres and Johnny Hinojosa and his wife Kim, along with numerous other loving family members and treasured friends, also carry the light of her influence in their hearts.
Virginia was a woman of many talents and interests. She possessed a remarkable artistic flair that found expression through her love for arts and crafts. Painting, sewing, embroidery, and quilting filled her days with joy, creating lasting pieces that will be cherished by those she loved. She also had a passion for fishing, relishing the tranquility of the water, and a sweet tooth that brought delight to countless family gatherings.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry B. Ramos, who stood by her side through all of life's beautiful moments. Virginia was also preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion and Maria Hinojosa, and her siblings, Lena Carrales and Herlinda Hinojosa, whose memories she cherished deeply.
Virginia's vivacious spirit and loving nature will leave an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege to know her. The warmth of her smile, the sound of her laughter, and the comfort of her presence will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on July 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home, located at 200 South Washington Avenue in Cleveland, Texas. Interment will immediately follow at Rosewood Memorial Park North in Porter, Tx. Virginia's life, rich in love and creativity, will be celebrated by all who were touched by her.
