William Gelston, 51, of Conroe, Texas was called home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was born on Saturday, August 9, 1969 in Houston, Texas to Earl Elmer Gelston and Lydia Kathleen (Heitz) Gelston, both of whom have preceded him in death. William was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Miles and grandson, Deklynn Hugh Gelston. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Rebecca Gelston; daughters, Ann Koenig and husband Brian Koenig, Sr., Cynthia Gelston and husband Marschal Harris, Jeanette Gelston and husband James Watkins, Jr.; brothers, Gary Smith, Earl Elmer Gelston, Jr. and wife Nancy; sisters, Tena Carpenter, Juanita Barlow and husband David, Betty Liles and husband Terry, Donna Peoples and husband Jerry, Margaret Gelston; grandchildren, Brian Koenig, Jr., Destyni Koenig, Brianna Koenig, Ethlynn Gelston, Asher Watkins; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. A visitation for William will be held at Whispering Pines Cemetery on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:30 pm. A graveside service for William will immediately follow at 2:00 pm.
Pallbearers for the service will be James Watkins, Jr., Brian Koenig, Sr., Brian Koenig, Jr., Marschal Harris, Billy Richardson, Albert Hicks, and Earl Gelston, Jr.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
