Randy Clay Lloyd

Randy Clay Lloyd, 62, of Coldspring, Texas passed away on Tuesday October 12, 2021. He was born on October 16, 1958 in Jacksonville, Texas to Leon and Freida Lloyd of Jacksonville.

Randy returned to school later in life and received an associate’s degree at age 50. He retired in 2020 after a dedicated 28 year career with US Auto Logistics. Apart from his career, he enjoyed and excelled in a variety of hobbies including golf, fishing, music playing and composition, and competitive shooting.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Lloyd; brother, John Lloyd; and daughter, Mary Amber Lloyd. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Lloyd; mother, Freida Lloyd; brother, Leon Lloyd Jr.; aunt, Rita Hanson; children, Hattie Nesbitt and husband Tamon, Terrie Watson and husband Glenn, Thomas Cox and wife Lindsay, Amanda Casey and husband Matthew, and Kandi Lloyd; as well as 12 grandchildren with another arriving in December and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 15th at Union Grove Cemetery near Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Union Grove Cemetery, 218 Pebble Beach Jacksonville, TX, 75766.
